The children have their own feast day with the Children’s Ridderrenn every year in January. The race is held during Children’s Ridderweek, and is open to those who only want to participate in this. Children and young people at the training/stay at Beitostølen Health sport centre will also start the race itself.
At the race, students of the same age from nearby schools also participate in the municipality as companions. Accompaniment is part of presenting sports for disabled people in school.
